Allan Myers

Legion wants nothing but neutrals with the highest level of integrity and honor. We want experience. We want well-rounded people who’ll provide nothing but the best services to our clients, but also those who’ll simultaneously be a pleasure to be around.

Legion hit the jackpot with Allan Myers.

Allan is one of northeast Georgia’s premier trial attorneys having tried well over 200 civil cases to jury verdict. He has successfully mediated at least that many and settled scores and scores more without mediation. He knows the value of a case and he knows the importance of the input and presentation skills of the people involved. Most importantly, Allan is just a good man.

As a UGA Fanning Institute for Leadership Development trained registered neutral, Allan will provide all parties the benefit of speaking with vast knowledge, experience, and honesty in his assessment of your case. Parties and attorneys alike quickly recognize his credentials and respect his input.

EDUCATION

Allan graduated from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law in 1975 after completing his undergraduate degree at Huntington College in 1969. Not surprisingly, Allan was a member of the Mercer Law Review and Moot Court Team. For the decades since, Allan has practiced throughout the Federal and State Courts of Georgia culminating in his place as the senior partner of Myers & Wingate, LLP here in Gainesville. Over the years, the appreciation for Allan’s experience and respect for his views has surpassed even his coveted Martindale AV rating. Indeed, Allan’s gifts even caught the attention of the Georgia Supreme Court when they designated Allan as a Special Master for State Bar disciplinary matters.

EXPERIENCE

Over his nearly 50 years of law practice, there are very few areas of civil law Allan has not touched. He has litigated land line disputes, probate litigation, vehicle warranty issues, and contract disputes. Yet, his main focus for many years has primarily centered on severe personal injury claims arising from motor vehicle collisions (including motorcycles and tractor-trailers), product liability and insurance coverage issues. Allan’s services can readily be helpful to Legion’s clients in just about every aspect of civil law.

PERSONAL

Equally as valuable to Legion as legal experience are life experiences. Raised in a military family, Allan has experienced the sights, sounds, and cultures all across the U.S. He is an avid music lover, an accomplished musician, a former owner of a music store, and is a member of numerous charitable organizations. Allan has been married to his wonderful wife, Robin, a retired educator, for more than fifty years and together they are most appreciative grandparents of four.

Allan is available to help others put their disputes behind them.

More than 200 civil trials and almost 50 years of law practice says it all…
