Brook Davidson

Before it was a 1984 box office smash with an Allstar cast, The Natural was a novel about a baseball player, Roy Hobbs, with amazing “natural” baseball talent. To this day, consuming the pages of Bernard Malamud’s 1952 classic brings about an unavoidable pondering of just who might be a “natural” across all professions. When it comes to leading others in resolving disputes, Brook Davidson is Legion’s “Natural.”

Over the past couple of decades, Brook’s professional focus has spread across a multitude of pursuits. Brook’s primary concentration has centered around trusts and estates and fiduciary litigation. From an accomplished litigator in a mid-sized Lawrenceville firm to roles as the Deputy Director, Chief Clerk, and Hearing Officer of the Gwinnett County Probate Court to the managing partner of Gainesville, Georgia’s largest full-service firm, Brook’s talents have often been recognized.

EXPERIENCE

Yet, it is her early start as a mediator that caught Legion’s attention. Motivated to help others reach finality in their quarrels, while prepping for a storied legal career, Brook trained as a neutral in college. Soon she was named an All-American Mediator at the American Mock Trial Association National Intercollegiate Mock Mediation Tournament at Drake University Law School in 2001. Literally, Brook was mediating before mediating was cool and she’s continued to hone her resolution skills since.

EDUCATION

A Hall County native, Brook is a graduate of Brenau University and continues to serve on the University’s Conflict Resolution and Legal Studies Advisory Board. Brook went on to the Georgia State University College of Law and soon thereafter graduated from the prestigious State Bar of Georgia’s Young Lawyers Division Leadership Academy. She remains in private practice with an emphasis on development of estate plans and representation through the probate, administration, guardianship, and conservatorship process. She’s even thrice been named as a Georgia Super Lawyer Rising Star.

PERSONAL

Despite her incredible talent for bringing disputes to an amicable close, Brook has interests far beyond the legal world. Most recently, she is a member of the executive board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lanier and is a past-President and member of the West Hall High School Touchdown Club. Brook has also been an Associate Director for the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce and she is an active member of Christ Place Church in Flowery Branch. In her spare time, Brook continues to enjoy tennis and yoga. Yet, her most beloved roles are that of a wife to Tim and mother of three fine young men: Tad, Nick, and Asher.

Brook now places her natural talent on display for Legion Mediation and anxiously awaits the opportunity to help you.
